Antares 20E self-launching glider. Only cinema4d R10 has materials. The Antares 20E is a self-launching glider with a 42-kW electric motor and SAFT VL41M lithium-ion batteries. It can climb up to 3 000 meters with fully charged cells. The motor EM42 is an brushless fixed-shaft electric motor running on DC-DC current. Running at 190-288 V, and pulling up to 160 A, the 42 kW motor can deliver maximum torque 216 N.m over a range 160-1600 RPM with a total efficiency of 90%. The battery system consists of two battery packs positioned in the leading edges of both inner wings 72 cells divided into 24 modules containing 3 cells each. The battery life is expected to 3000 cycles or 20 years.
