High def model of a WW2 Sherman tank, type M4A3 75 mm Wet (wet ammo stowage). This was the main battle tank for US and many allied forces during World War II. It was named Sherman IV if in British and commonwealth service and was the most produced tank during WW2 cause to it's short production time. This model is historical authentic, modelled after original blueprints by George R. Bradford. This model is not textured or UV-mapped. Material placeholders are present thought. Note that NO Meshsmooth/HyperNURBS are used. This is raw micro modelling with an accurate and clean mesh. Hatches, turret, canon and more have local pivot point set and are ready for rigging and animation. For the C4d-file, the tracks are aligned along a Spline using a Clone object for track shoes, making rigging and animation more easy to acomplish. Also, for more advanced animation, the track support wheels on the Volute Suspension Bracket do also have pivot points set so you can rig the whole track to work as real tracks. Most external objects are welded to the hull as on the real thing. Some less important details are simplified or dropped to keep poly count low. Stats are from the OBJ file.
